Wonderful Winter Showcase

In front of a packed audience – comprising 100 family members – 30 talented students took to the stage and impressed us with a wide variety of stunning performances.

The evening featured group choreography, entertaining drama sketches, captivating solo and group vocal performances and an energetic dance duet – which also incorporated Makaton.

Students had worked exceptionally hard to fine-tune their routines, with some beginning their practice as early as September. As a result, each act was thoroughly polished and flowed seamlessly.

The highlight of the evening for many, though, was Year 10 student Maria, who opened the evening with a beautiful rendition of O Holy Night. A talented performer, Maria is currently starring in the local Cinderella pantomime (oh yes, she is!) at Derby Arena.

A fitting way to conclude the Autumn Term, this magical event united our school community and celebrated our talented student body!
